HP TouchPad Hands On - BWOne.com

The HP TouchPad is a 9.7 inch tablet with 1024 x 760 resolution powered by dual core 1.2 ghz snapdragon processor. It comes with a 1.3 MP front facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, stereo speaks with the Beats By Dre audio engine and will have 16 GB or 32 GB of storage available and will run Web OS 3.0. Web OS 3.0 is the tablet evolution from the versions found on phones. The same slick and smooth interface that Palm fans are familiar with and easy of use for new users to the software. Some cool features are the multitasking which is a card system which you can scroll though your cards of open programs, stack them on top of each other or swipe them away to close them out. Email works with panels which allows you to choose how you want to view your emails on the fly. Touch-To-Share lets users that have a Web OS phone transfer content between the TouchPad with just touch them together. Since this is an HP device printing is obviously a main feature and the TouchPad has support for wireless printing for up to 90% of the printers made by HP in the latest 5 years. That will be key for the business and enterprise folks along with VPN , QuickOffice, Google Docs and Exchange support all built-in.
