Happy 69th Wedding Anniversary, Mom & Dad! 8/29/09

Jim Hallowes: In 1990, I was asked to produce and direct a TV commercial with the U.S. president Ronald Reagan, after being shot at his offices in Century City, after leaving the White House. I was there in the prestigious building of the Fox Plaza in Century City, and after clearing security were escorted to the elevator, and the strike of the Guard, the special magnetic card, we were in the attic of capture, not arrested along with another storey to the road. The doors opened in the formerPresidency of the Republic, as it was ... sits on the table ... announced the glass of the famous jelly beans, how expensive. There was also a large American flag, the statue of the bald eagle and other insignia of his two terms in office. I sort of felt like I was in the White House. Once introduced, he said, "Great office, you have Mr. Reagan." and he replied "You never know the movie was filmed here!" Then knocked on the door: "What film shoot here" andresponse "Die Hard! with Bruce Willis!" came back. He went on to tell us how he'd moved in, right after they'd finished filming the movie. In fact, if you're curious, there's a great shot of the Fox Plaza building on the "Die Hard" video label, and right there where the explosion is, is where Reagan's offices were. You might want to check it out next time you're in a video store. I was happy to be at the 20th Anniversary screening of "Die Hard" just a few weeks ago over at the Academy Theater. Time ...
